ZenoShade One-Way Privacy Window Film

Very easy to install. I’ve never done any window tinting or wallpaper before, but this went smoother than expected. I lined it up at the top of the door, and barely had to readjust. This has survived a cold winter and strong west-facing sun—no bubbles or peeling. Highly recommend.

I was skeptical at first. We live in Southeast Texas where the AC never rests, and this film really cut the heat. We bought it as a temporary fix for our 40-year-old home. So far, very impressed with how it’s helping to maintain cooler indoor temps and reduce energy usage.

The instructions were clear. We used a squeegee, water spray, an ID card, and an exacto knife. It took us about 1.5 hours to do all the panes, but it came out super clean. The film curls when cutting, but becomes easier once the backing is off. Great fit for our 9.5x9.5 windows.

We finished half the windows one evening and the rest the next — total install time was about 1.5 hours. It looks great and works great. During the day, it offers excellent privacy. At night, though, it’s still see-through from the outside, so keep curtains drawn for full privacy.
